Exploration Division

Mission Statement:

The Exploration Division (XD) is charged with gathering of resources Animal, Vegetable and Mineral in nature. The Division also functions as the Association’s eyes and ears throughout the galaxy. Seeking out new potential resource locations, scouting unknown terrain and classifying and cataloging new resources. The Division is comprised mostly of Scouts, Artisans, Creature Handlers and Rangers. But, any CONSORTIUM member may be a member of XD if they so desire.

The CONSORTIUM is a Crafting PA and therefore the Exploration Division will be instrumental in supplying the Crafting Professions with large quantities of valuable resources where able. In addition, XD Scouts and Surveyors are charged with keeping abreast of the changing landscape of resource locations and statistics. This means Creature Handlers, Rangers, Scouts and hunting parties looking for new or hard to find animals and animal resources; Artisans sampling, classifying and recording new resource statistics and locations; and all XD members locating and coordinating gathering needed rare resources and/or loot drops. This information will be made available to TCON members through the secure forums or the TCON Database.

XD Scouts, Artisans, Rangers and Creature Handlers are encouraged to be vigilant to the needs of TCON as a whole. Knowledge will be of importance to all divisions, it is therefore part of Exploration Division’s mission that all members of the division should be vigilant to the needs of all its members in the form of information gathered during their everyday duties, missions, and exploration forays. XD is a key element in the success of TCON as a whole. Our far ranging exploration of the Galaxy is the very beginning of the crafting process and is therefore vital to the Crafters and Artisans who need resources and information.

It is the requirement of XD members to be self sufficient in the field where able. Members of the Exploration Division are encouraged to assist and support their fellow CONSORTIUM members where able in this regard in terms of equipment and skills needed to facilitate their missions.
